This article addresses the complexities of Mexico’s pension system, particularly the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social, which serves over 76 million individuals but provides pensions to only 5.5 million. With an annual growth rate of 4.7% in pensioners from 2010 to 2023, there is a pressing need for accessible pension information. To meet this demand, the author introduces a chatbot designed to assist users with IMSS public pensions. This AI-driven tool utilizes advanced technologies, including Python, GitHub, Streamlit, LangChain, and NVIDIA AI language models, to process official documents and provide accurate, conversational, and task-oriented support in Spanish. By leveraging Large Language Models and Retrieval Augmented Generation, the chatbot ensures precise and contextually relevant responses, democratizing access to essential pension information for Mexican citizens. The project exemplifies how AI can enhance public service accessibility and reliability, offering a scalable solution to the growing demand for pension guidance. (AU)
